The Clean Horizons Project, a transformative initiative dedicated to cleaning beaches and recycling plastic waste into valuable items for vulnerable children.

Our Mission
The Clean Horizons Project is a transformative environmental and social initiative dedicated to:

  • Cleaning Beaches: Restoring the beauty of our coastlines by removing waste and pollution.
  • Recycling Plastic Waste: Turning discarded plastics into valuable items to support vulnerable children.
  • Inspiring Communities: Encouraging community involvement in sustainable environmental practices.

Why We Exist
Pollution is a growing threat to marine life, coastal ecosystems, and human health. At the Clean Horizons Project, we believe that everyone has a role to play in creating cleaner, safer environments. Through collaboration and innovative recycling, we aim to reduce waste, protect the planet, and give back to those in need.

Our Impact
Our first cleanup event, held on January 13, 2025, at Kumasamba La Bamba Beach, marked the beginning of an exciting journey. Together with volunteers, community members, and partners like GIVE, Joy Sweets and Savouries, and Ms. Mama, we:

  • Cleared heaps of rubbish from the beach.
  • Engaged the local fishing community in environmental action.
  • Initiated plans to recycle collected plastics into items for vulnerable children.
